I finished the C25k a couple of weeks ago, and have been saving the 'long run' for Sundays, with shorter runs during the week, one of them being intervals of jog/sprint/walk (4mins/30secs/1min x6). I've been seeing my average km times coming down from 9:28min/km to 8:23min/km. So this mornings plan was to try the NRC 5k guided run. No pressure. Just take it easy and enjoy the morning.
Well blow me down with a feather..... I started nice and steady, really enjoying the countryside, and Couch Bennett and his questions. The next thing I know, I'm back home, just run 5.94k - in 49mins!!! My legs felt as if they could have carried on for a few more!! Lap times steadily getting quicker from 8:43 to 7:42 (where did that come from????!!!!!)
Thank you fellow bridgers for recommending the NRC 5k ...... will definitely be running this one again!

I have a great piece of advice for you for your health, namely the heartbeat app apps.apple.com/app/apple-st... . The application allows you to measure and record heart rate indicators, accompany each measurement with a description of when and how the measurements were taken (for example, "after waking up", "after a run", etc.). The application is very easy to use, has a simple and intuitive interface, and is accompanied by clear instructions.
