Hello all . I haven't posted in a while but I'm still out 4 times a week happily running .
So today was my second virtual race this year and I chose one of my favourite 10k routes . A good few hills and inclines but after 2 years of running they get easier.
Anyway my 10k time today for this event was 1hr 44 seconds. My fastest time for this route so I'm pleased with that.
Happy running to you all and for those on the IC I hope you are recovering well.

Great time Buddy34 and a great Saturday run go Buddy go πβ π
Well done you!! I cheated and ran a flatter route mostly along a river and a canal. But it is a lovely route with part of it being a nature reserve. My first virtual race and Iβm so glad i did it.
Good run and time for you today Buddy34, still running 4 times a week is excellent, you must be almost at Scotland on your Lejog journey, as for me, I ran 11K on Wednesday and my 19th (not) parkrun this morning.
Had to cancel my last hospital appointment as I have had a stinking cold. Which means Iβm still in the brace till at least Nov 3rd now, which is frustrating. But not as frustrating as having had the appointment and still being in the brace (if you see what I mean).
Thatβs great Buddy34 so pleased you ran a great route for your run, you can now look forward to the Bling to arrive. π ππ»ββοΈEnjoy your next runs
Thanks. It was very wet and extremely windy early morning but by the time I went out the weather had calmed down a good bit. Although with the sweat on my clothes you'd have thought it was pouringπ€£
Not bad thanks π still not running but my achilles is getting soooo much better! Keeping up with the strengthening and maybe in a couple of weeks... a little πββοΈ... maybe... hopefully!!!!
Well done Buddy! That sounds like a dream time to me! Iβm off to do mine with Dexy5, UpTheStanley, cheekychipmunks, linda9389, and Wimborne tomorrow. Thereβs another group in Stratford on Avon and Beachcomber in his native Yorkshire so watch out for multiple posts tomorrow! And I suspect thereβll be loads of others doing it too!
That's a brilliant run and time! π₯You are quietly keeping consistent and out running in all weathers. What a run this was though! Absolutely fantastic going πππππ
Fabulous time Buddy, thatβs a target if I ever did see one for us tomorrow. I suspect your hills are a good deal hillier thanks ours too! It would be interesting to know how many HU and non HU are doing this. ππππͺπͺ
Brilliant time Buddy34 ππ»ππ»well done and what a great time to achieve it too ! Iβve entered the Vitality 10,000, which Iβll be doing in the next few days, fingers crossed I get a PB too ππββοΈ
