Iโ€™m on the bones of my backside ๐Ÿ˜‚

After running for 6 months now ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Iโ€™ve managed to lose a stone ๐Ÿ˜Š. The trouble is now, my previously not so large bum is almost non existent! When I sit down I can literally feel Iโ€™m sitting on the bones of my backside! This is worse on plastic chairs and I sit on kidโ€™s plastic chairs most of every day. Iโ€™ve got a little callous forming on each cheek. Ouch! Sorry TMI ๐Ÿ˜‚. The downside of running and burning a bit of fat is that now I need a blow up cushion ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Great stuff with the running & weight loss, but yow!

Time to develop the โ€˜perfect Pilates bumโ€™ so you are sitting on muscle! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I do Pilates and love it. As my friend says, I have got some muscle but itโ€™s in the wrong place ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Hmmm, running does rather reduce bum size! Not sure what the solution is!

Dare I say it...eat more cake!?๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿง๐Ÿฐ Thats what I do!๐Ÿ˜‰

All joking aside, I do have to make sure I take on enough calories - and no, theyโ€™re not all cake really!๐Ÿ™‚

Great advice ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Yeah Iโ€™m going to up my food intake a bit ๐Ÿ˜Š I didnโ€™t set out to lose weight but do try to eat healthy. Definitely room for more cake!

I posted recently about weight loss on the marathon forum and got a lot of interesting responses. I do think we need to watch our food intake.

Try some glute exercises, squats and walking lunges spring to mind. These won't hurt your running either, in fact will help. Both can be done at home with either body weight or holding on to handy heavy things you have around the house.

Loads of vids on line to supply instruction.

Thanks. I will try adding some to my routine. Till then Iโ€™ll carry on sitting on my coat ๐Ÿ˜‚

Iโ€™ve been running for about 3 years now and I think Iโ€™ve found most of your stone if youโ€™d like it back??? โ˜น๏ธ. Iโ€™ve usually done at least 10,000 steps before lunchtime too. Whereas my sister who barely leaves the house is like a scrawny bird. Makes me sick ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Mind you I have very little bum- all belly and boobs Iโ€™m afraid

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Oh yeah me too! Iโ€™ve got plenty of spare elsewhere. As my hubby says, I havenโ€™t got a weight problem Iโ€™ve got a distribution problem ๐Ÿ˜‚

High protein food... plenty of exercises for those butt muscles..)

As Sandraj39 says, It is really important to make sure that the fuel goes in for the performance to come out. I am currently not running and following a specific eating regime in order to put weight back on, after running myself, literally, physically and mentally to a very low point.

There is some really useful advice out there regarding the great foods that you can enjoy which will support your running journey:)

Until then.. get a really comfy cushion!

Thanks. Iโ€™ll have a look cus Iโ€™m really interested in nutrition. My bony backside is not a huge problem though. I posted it more for amusement. Iโ€™ll carry sitting on my coat ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Hope you feel strong again soon x
