Well it’s been a few weeks since I last went out and I’ve only been able to take a quick look at all your running adventures recently. And I know there has been some fabulous achievements. Apologies for not sending congratulations! You’re all amazing!! 🤩
I’ve just been through a very long ‘The Apprentice’ like recruitment process (4 stages, lasting over a month) and I’ve had to put everything into research and preparation. It’s been pretty exhausting 🥱. Unfortunately, I was pipped at the post to an internal candidate (some consolation, I guess 😕). Anyway, I’ve only gone and applied for another. Strike while the irons hot (ish)! 😂 So, I’m not sure how much running will occur just yet.
But....I have been doing short daily exercises at home to keep myself fit and ready for the road 🙌🏽. I’m definitely not stopping, it’s just that life is setting different priorities at the moment.
You know me...I could just say, ‘it’s time to go’ when I wake up one morning!! And I love that!! 🤩🤩🤩!
Until then...Big cheers to my VRB’s (making up for those I’ve missed😊) & of course...I’ll be back 😉!

Lovely to have you pop in, in the midst of it all, to encourage us! We keep putting one foot in front of the other when we run, & that is what is enabling you to keep going in the search for a job. What a fortunate company that gains you!

Wow Fab, even though you were pipped at the post, that’s some achievement making it to that stage of the interview process. They’re nuts, they should have picked you! 😅
As regards your running, you’re the ultimate come back kid, so taking a bit of time to do other life stuff isn’t going to affect your running when the time is right to return. We all look forward to reading your triumphant posts when you do! 👊
Shame about the first job Fab but look at how ahead of the curve you are when it comes to your new application. 🤞🏻 for that. I know that you’ll be back because it’s in your head now - you’re a runner! Glad that you touched base though as we all miss your cheery posts. 😆
Thanks so much Sybilw!! 🤗 Yessss! I applied for that job just two days after finding out it wasn’t me! 😦 And it was the last day before it closed too. Two days later, I was discussing availability for the 3 stages of this job! 🤯! So, a bit like running, if you’re able to find the courage to keep going, something will change eventually. 😁❤️
Good to hear from you! Sorry you missed out on the job but great to hear you're buoyed up for another new opportunity. Fingers crossed for you! Do whatever fitness feels right for you - sounds like you have a good routine. I've run very little but am concentrating on mental health and sleep and at the moment. Stay well... X

Hi Fabulous450 ...it so good to hear from you, I know you've had a lot on lately with worki etc, sorry to hear you missed out on the post you were going for but, just like with your running, you've picked yourself up, dusted yourself down and gone on to apply for another...things happen for a reason don't they Fab??? Their loss that's what I say!!! Taking a break from your running is right for you at the moment, you have enough pressures of life withpout that on top...but I do know that once you see the window of opportunity you will be back out there, enjoying your runs again and hopefully sharing them with all of us. Until then though, I am sure I'm not the only one who will take you out with them, come rain or shine...and we all wish you the best of luck with your latest job application xx
