Happy Monday πΌ I canβt stop smiling as I managed to do 5k again after a long time away from this π₯³ Iβve decided that I now wonβt be watching my pace and will go as slow as I can to increase my distance. Iβm not racing anyone so why am I worrying about it. I just canβt stop smiling and I feel really good for doing this π 53 minutes so my next goal is 60 as I want that 60 minute graduate badge

Loads of smiles for you! Absolutely terrific! Well done. You must feel so good. Absolutely agree that running slowly or more comfortably is the best way to increase distance, enjoy it and feel fresher. Brilliant stuff. That hour mark will be achieved πππ
I expect we'll be seeing lots more dawn photos here. You caught some interestingly coloured clouds there.
And you're right. You're only competing against yourself.
That's absolutely brilliant!! π€ΈββοΈπ₯³ππ I've adopted the same strategy - work on stamina rather than speed - and I find it much more rewarding. I managed 60 minutes on the magic plan a few weeks ago. Since then I've been extending my long run by 1k and I'm hoping to do 10k this week π€π€ if I can do it, you can too ππͺπ
Well done. I'm looking forward to giving you that 60 minute Graduation badge when the time comes. Happy Running.
