Hooray - back out there today 😀🏃🏻‍♀️

September- Back to school = sneezes, sore throat, cough, temperature, congestion, sinus pain = no running 😡

The symptoms dragged on for three weeks! No running for two weeks. But today I ran! 😀

Nice and steady, slow and relaxed - no expectations, just enjoying being out there. Beautiful morning, sun out, cooling breeze. Feeling good.

Ended up running 9km, which was more than I expected.

Thank you, it was great to be running again. Squiggy hasn’t missed out on his runs because my hubby runs too 😊🐾🐶

So glad you’re back out there SS. It’s good to make the most of the pretty autumn days, and it looks like Squiggy is enjoying them too! Flossie enjoyed some bracing swims in the sea last week - where there’s a stick involved, there’s no such thing as cold! 🥶 🐾😅

Like my sister’s spaniel - she absolutely loves her tennis ball and swimming. Squiggy will paddle but is a bit of a scaredy-cat when out of his depth 😂

Aww Squiggy! 🥰 Well Flossie isn’t a tough nut at all, and sidesteps puddles to keep her tootsies dry, but she’s besotted with sticks and balls so the temptation is too great and she rewrites the rules! 😅🐾

Oh, the joys of working in a school skysue16 ! Colds aplenty at the one where I work too!🤧 🤷‍♀️

Bet it was great to get out there again - well done on your run. Such a beautiful time of year - I can't wait to get out there on my long run later on this morning!

Oh how frustrating - I really sympathise. 😘 I thought, having retired, that I would no longer be caught by the “back to school bugs”, but nooo! 🙄 - Why break the habit of 40 years!😂

That’s kind, thank you 😊 Squiggy is really Squiggles (named by the children in his first home due to a white Squiggke on his back!). He is a great running buddy 🐶🐾🐾🐿
