My brief relationship with my new shoes wasn't as hoped, the Saucony Omni 19, apparently pronounced Sock-Uh-Knee π€―..... Twas not to be for me tried a 2nd run the shoes affectionately named saucepans felt so stiff underfoot and just wouldn't give so hmmmm...
Whereas they felt grand in-store on the treadmill, outdoors is a whole new world, treadmills tend to be a little cushioned so probably don't quite give accurate feedback..... ( Purely my own opinion) so I got thinking and researching.
My over pronation is at worst so slight and my brooks adrenaline are a softer stability shoe, whereas the saucepans were a full-blown stability shoe.... Not needed in my case.
Further investigation and other runners do mix a normal shoe (neutral) with their stability shoes.....
And they all lived happily ever after ππ₯°π₯³.
Once again huge thanks to "Up and Running" staff in Chesterππ.... I'd narrowed the choice down to two shoes last night, whilst workplace googling π.
Contender 1 the brooks transcend π€ mixed opinion.....
Contender 2 the brooks ghost 13 nightlife.
Slipping my foot into the ghost ahhhhhhh it was like that comfy armchair moment π
Sorry to all saucepan wearers but they just weren't for me..........
