... it's been a while since I've said that!! Just another repeat of c25k week 1. Not sure whether I'm going to repeat the whole programme but at the moment I can comfortably do this run without any discomfort to my achilles so I'm just going to build up slowly alongside all the strengthening work and see what happens. It's a joy to be back out running the streets in the dark... all I need now is the rain π§ π

Oh yes, I think I saw that, apologies if I didn't comment π just seen your post about recovery run too. You making so much progress, it's great π and I didn't know that about a recovery run either! Keep it up, 10 miles is within your sights
I would do the same. You want to enjoy it Mum22boys, so taking it slow and steady wanting and able to go back out is the most important thing. Well done! πβ€οΈ
All you need is the rain β, well tomorrow your wish will come true, well done on running run 2 of week 1 of C25K, those runs and walks all add up to your milage on LeJog, onwards and upwards ππΎ πΆ
That's made my night! No 'just' about this! You have had 2 runs already with no ill effects so far and a third to come! Doesn't matter how far, what speed or what programme...you are running!! Bring on the rain π§β€
Oh and huge congrats on your marathon π πππ I spotted your post a couple of nights ago but I'm not a member of that forum so couldn't comment. Super impressive, all set for the real deal in a few weeks π
Thanks for asking π Weβre still in lockdown here in Melbourne but just found out all five boys can return to preschool/school in a couple of weeks. Iβve been continuing on with the MAF training. Still more walking than running but up to 20k a week. Hopefully, boys going back to school will help my heart rate π
I bet you can't wait for just a small amount of peace!! 20k a week is good π and when you get a little bit more freedom in a couple of weeks... π
I was walking back from dropping the eldest at pre-school this morning, in the rain, and a woman passed me running and I was soooo jealous, but I gave her a big smile as she ran past
Great news, only just seen this, so pleased for you π€
