Run 3 of the week

Made it out the door again yesterday with a plan to run for 30ish minutes and see how it went.

The route on the conservation area was a bit sloppy. I had one slip where I nearly ended up in a heap but I kept going. I felt a bit like Dori from Nemo "just keep swimming (running)".

Eventually stopped at 53mins, 53secs. Only managed 6.2km, boy am I slow.

I love it though!

One regret, should have tried to keep going so i could claim hour badge, missed a trick there.

You did well if you were mentally prepared for 30ish minutes but actually did 53!

I didn’t know there was an hour badge. That’s a Garmin one? I’d love to get some more badges but it’ll be a while before I’m running for an hour!

Good for you, you must have felt great to keep going after planning for 30 minutes! Don’t worry, you’re so close to the 60 minutes you’ll get there soon enough. Enjoy 🙂

That’s great! I find it hard to run for longer than I have planned so I’m impressed with that. I think I will have a go at just running without a plan (that is assuming I get back to running, see earlier wail!) and see how that goes. You are really close to 60 minutes now so I’m sure you will get there. And we are about the same speed!
