5k in Friday so 2.5k today, I think that means 5.5k on Tuesday which happily is my day off
After a long busy weekend at work I suggested a short run
We ran faster we ran harder .... for the first kilometre by which time I had stitch and we were both puffing so we slowed down. Children on scooters, children with frisbee type things, dogs, blue sky with clouds, and green..... trees grass oh it’s beautiful and so good to be outside
We enjoyed this run, came home happy,
Wishing you all strong legs and hearts

Well done WillowandSola, I am sure you won’t regret doing the magic plan, You can adapt it to your working week and do the runs in any order. Just make sure you take those long runs nice and slowly. I’ve just finished week 5 but there are lots doing different weeks on here.
We started it last December but soo soon, did the timed first few weeks, now 5k is reasonably comfortable and the garmin 4 times a week left us with achey legs too often i thought we could manage the distance one if we run twice or three times a week, I will check it and follow for as long as we can I’m desperate to run 10k and sure if i go slow enough it’s doable but Willow isn’t so sure and I wouldn’t push it without him
It certainly sounds as if you enjoyed it Sola - well done on getting out there after working all weekend! Enjoy the Magic Plan - you can take as long as you want to, there’s no rush and you never know - you might come to enjoy the longer runs when you get to them!
Thanks, I love the longer runs, the difficult part is slowing Willow down enough so he keeps running, he gets to about 3 k and stops quite often, I am looking forward to just plodding along
The problem I found with the Garmin one was 4 times a week was too often and we didn’t seem to be going any further, a couple of 3.22k one 4.83k and hill repeats each week
