I’m not going to lie I’m an unhappy person right now!! As per I put myself last to help others & end up not getting my run done 🙈👎🏼 I cannot actually believe I’m saying this 🤣
I completed C25K in July and since then I have run 5k every other day. I’m pleased with my progress and feel great afterwards! This feels weird not going to lie I’m gutted - anyone else get miffed if you cannot go? Or am just weird 🤷🏻♀️🤣

Yep I’m miffed too! Due to pure ludicrous red tape I’ve had to work solidly all day till well after dark to get a job completed for tomorrow. Hence no run. My ankle is playing up at the moment but I was planning on at least a walk to ease it in gently, but nothing! This week is busy so I won’t get another run till the weekend. It always happens on the days you most need it too. Enjoy your next one!
According to Mrs UNM I’m awful to be around when I can’t run... in the early days I scheduled my rest days for when she was home, now she insists that I run on those days 🤣
Yeah... I wouldn’t say my life revolves around the need, but there’s a definite hole in it when there’s no run. Doesn’t matter if it’s post run endorphins, or the anticipation of the run, it gives me a little boost.
Lidl currently has a head torch in with a white front lamp and a red rear lamp. I got one at the weekend. The front lamp takes AAA batteries and the rear a pair of lithium coin cells.
Once I get into it, I enjoy running in the dark - it somehow enhances the “enjoying my own space” aspect of running. I also enjoy planning routes around other peoples’ Christmas lights when it gets to that time of year! 😄
