I just received an email through parkrun that this event is going virtual so I thought why not.

I'm now entered and have to complete a 10k between 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2020 and you get a nice shiny medal and tshirt. 😊🏃‍♀️

I was able to defer my actual entry to next year, plus enter the virtual race too (a few of us have done that), so you won’t be alone Buddy! The call of the extra bling ....... 🏅 😀

I would never have ran it otherwise as I'm in Scotland. But as all these virtual runs are happening I decided to enter and yes the bling but I think ive got a thing for the tshirts now🤣🤣

A bit sore still, and i’m fed up, work was the usual rubbish and i popped out for an unsuccessful blood test this morning but while i was there i rashly agreed to a flu jab and a pneumonia jab forgetting that although I don’t mind blood tests I hate injections anyway they are done, the blood is another story though because after digging around a while it hurt too much and i said stop, I’m fine anyway and have decided to keep my blood,

Otherwise we are great thanks (bet you wish you’d never asked 😂)

In the email it says walk, jog or run your 10k then send in the evidence . 😊

I think you can only do it as a single run. You could walk or Jeff it though! You know you can do 10k

There are quite a few of us doing it virtually together. Until the rule of 6 came in, 9 of us were hoping to get together in Southampton, but now, in the likely event that it won’t change again by then, we might be splitting into 2 groups in different places. We’ll advertise date and time once we’ve got ourselves sorted out, so that if others want to join we can be one big HU virtual crowd 😃

Being long would suit me Linda as I'm tall and find a lot of tshirts for running are sometimes short. The best one I have is from Contra 😊😊
