Running euphoria is well and truly back!! π I had an amazing run this morning! Saturdayβs are now my long run day! And it was time for some βJeffingβ in the fields π¦Ύ! After Sgt Garmin gave me my instructions ππ½ββοΈπ£, I was off with a nice 10 minute warm up. Then 3 miles of βour Jeffβsβ strategy run/walk/run and 10 minutes cool down. It was brilliant. Iβve run this route before, but Iβve never got to the end before on my little runs... but today, I went from end to end and clocked up almost 5 miles too! π 7:25k in C25K measurements! π₯π₯π₯
I realised I could have done with shorter intervals in the run/walk/run sequence, as it was getting harder to do by the end. I was a little tempted to see if I could fit in that strange little hidey hole in the tree when I saw it, but I pressed on and reminded myself that Iβm actually doing ok here βΊοΈ.
Itβs not much to some, but the vision ahead of going uphill in my last 300 meters took a bit of digging deep, but I decided I could do it and I made it ππ½.
Oh it was Mum22boys!! Thanks so much! π€ It was nice and quiet too. Thatβs exactly how I like it. Tucked away from all the hustle and bustle π² π³ .
Just walking at the moment, had a couple of run/walks earlier in the week but decided to ease back for bit. Eldest boy is back in pre-school so the youngest boy and me are walking some miles π
Yep!! He was done and dusted! I think Iβm definitely going to get lapped!! π€£π€£ But Iβll be happy with that. I kind of like my stop offs! π¬π§ πβ€οΈ
It did feel quite epic! π¦Ύ When I arrived back home my son said, βMum youβre drippingβ, with the biggest smile I said βYeah, that was brilliantβ! ππ Disengaged from the busy streets, I didnβt realise I had been gone for an hour! πβ€οΈ
