this morning I completed my first ever run where I consciously changed my pace sometimes It was 25 minutes and actually so much fun doing a run which was something a bit different!! I ran 4.6km: basically running 2km at an easy / normal pace; doing these little speedy interval for 1/2km; and the a little cool down.
I had been intimidated by unplanned intervals but I'm happy I got over my fear
Onto week 5!!I think I'll put my long run next week at 8.5km so I don't have to jump from 8 to 9.
