How does 30 minutes feel now? Once that was more than daunting... here you are, running a 30 and being a little nervous about 50... what progress! Great job today and so far on the Bridge... you can run 50, you can love it, and then come tell us all about it... have a great week.

Look at your name here. Lizcanrun , you can do it. Don't think too much about it. Take it nice and steady. You'll breeze through it. Nice steady easy pace.

Oh no, you mustn’t feel daunted Lizcanrun! You got through C25K and now you’re on week 4 of the bridge! That’s progress and you’re getting there! Just do what you always do and you’ll be fine! Good luck and let us know how you get on!

What they said.... You can definitely do it, just take it nice and slow. If you run with music, get a great playlist together which you know is longer than that or find an inspiring and interesting podcast and just make sure you keep well hydrated all week. You are ready 👍💪🏃‍♀️

I'm sure you will be completely fine! Try not to think about the time too much before you run and just say to yourself that you're going out for a run maybe? I find getting caught up too much in focussing in the time or distance works against me. Relax and enjoy!

Hi there - I am also on week four of the magic plan - running the distance not the time version. For some reason I like to get the long run done as the first run in the week - so that I then think of the other two as 'short' runs (Ha!)

It was fine - I had to keep turning round to avoid dog walkers and other runners and it was a bit daunting when I got to 7k (last week's long run). I was trying to keep it slow and steady but the last K to get to the 8 was the fastest - finished the 8 K in 54.30 which I suspect is the longest I have ever 'run' non-stop (certainly since I was a teenager and I am 61 now!)

So - like C25K the magic plan does seem to be magic - only believe and you will smash it.

Week 5 of the 60' plan today. Think I set off a bit too fast but managed 6k in 52 mins. I always go slightly over because Strava seems to dock a bit of time off sometimes for some reason.

I stuck to the narrow footpaths rather than going on the track where the signs for shooting are up.

However at one point along the track there was clearly a large splurge of blood. No sign of any animal or people with guns but makes you think....

Blimey! Running can be dangerous where you live!! I agree about Strava, I think it's very generous. 😀
