Drizzle 🌧️

I woke up to the sound of pouring rain and really didn't feel like a rainy run this morning πŸ™ But by the time I got out the door it had settled into a fine misty drizzle always awkward when you wear glasses, so with my baseball cap pulled way down off I set.

A 35 minute run for me today and I'd decided to start my usual route in reverse and then decide on the hoof, which meant beginning with a (slight) hill. I was happy with how it was going, enjoying the change in direction and even the long slow gentle incline along the old railway track. Then with 5 minutes left I ran up and off the track starting for home only to realise I'd misread the time and still had 10 minutes to go 😩 So I had to do a bit of back and forth and then run round the playing fields which seemed really hard work! I've only run on grass once before and I really don't like it much. Back to tarmac as I headed towards home and feeling much stronger now… Yay 😊

I thought you might like these lovely Cosmos taken in my garden yesterday before it started raining x

Happy running whatever your weather

Hope it stopped so you could get the shopping 😊

It has been a mizzly (misty drizzly) morning where I am too, but a rest day for me so just a dog walk in the wet. It isn't cold though and feels really humid so thunderstorms are likely later.

Gorgeous photo of your cosmos dijep 🌸

Lovely photo and a great run, funny how some routes are just too short. Grass running is hard, less traction when you are used to tarmac. Well done on todays run. Happy running πŸ€—

Interesting what you say about the grass. I mainly run on a mix of tarmac and the old rail line which originally had a surface of crushed limestone chips now it's mainly compacted mud - with added puddles for interest today!

Shame about the rain but at least this was a cool run for you.

Love the flowers - they are very delicate looking. I must see if I can get hold of some for my garden!
