Had a nice first run back this morning since last Friday's debacle and it felt good! Just a 6.2 mile run but I started off really steady for the first half and had a bit in the tank to give it some towards the end. Great to be back!
Back on the Horse : Had a nice first run back... - Bridge to 10K
Back on the Horse
Glad to hear you've got over your injuries and out this morning. Great run, busy doing the maths to convert to Km's π€£ happy running π€
ππππ
No idea on that! I know 6.25 miles today is just over 10k. The pacing I try for 10.30 to 11.30 per mile as a steady pace then when I can I open the taps a bit to around 8.30 per mile. Thank you π
Superb, great work, well done you
Thank you, really appreciate it.
Fantastic to see you bounce right back GTFC, you sound relieved. Glad youβre ok π
I really am. Glad it wasn't long. I missed it!!
It's great to have you back GTFC and I am happy to know that your injury has completely healed, good run, 6.2 miles is 10K., excellent run and time, well done.
Thanks Al. It was 6.25m as I know it's just over 10k. I've always liked to work in miles. How are things with you?
I am feeling very well thank you, since I ran 10 miles 3 weeks ago tomorrow I have been revising some of the early runs of C25K, only the ones with interval walks and runs, tomorrow it's week 3, that takes around 16 minutes, once the 16 minutes are up I continue running without breaks until I reach 5K, once the cooler weather arrives I may run another 10K or even 10 miles.
That's a great idea indeed πlove that. Keep on keeping on my friend!
Heβs back! πππππππ₯ Fantastic Hidden . Glad there was no lasting damage. π
Thank you π
It's great to hear that you had a good first run back after last week. Did you ever get to the bottom of why or have you just put it down to 'one of those things'?
It's good to have you back GTFC, stay safe and make sure you take care in this heat, we don't want any more fainting tales
Happy running.

Thank you. Yes I firmly believe it was stopping still mid-run to chat. No more chats...just waves!!
Welcome back on the horse, well done to you
Glad you're all good.
Thanks buddy, your turn hopefully soon!
Great to hear GTFC!!! Glad you eased back in with a short runπ₯΄ππ. You take care in the heat and maybe keep a reign on that sociability π
Fantastic run GTFC and so good to hear you're feeling fit enough to run after your injuries. πββοΈπͺπͺ
Thank you, ran past the scene trying to find my sunglasses as they got knocked off but to no avail. My son has been up there too but couldn't see them either. Still we're back and I feel fantastic now after the run and feel physically very strong π we keep rolling on.
Glad to hear this run went well GTFC. It can be a bit nerve-wracking going out again after an incident!
Good to have you back GTFC, fingers crossed that's the last you'll see of that nonsense and it'll all be onwards and upwards from here ππ
Phew...thatβs all I can say...
πππππ
3 days late... but really pleased to see this. Definitely no stopping to chat in future!! We don't want to hear of any more fainting episodes!!! π
Thank you! I did feel a bit daft!π
Daft is ok... better than it being something serious causing the fainting.. and now you know π Hope all the cuts and scrapes have healed
Thank you! Went on a lovely long run yesterday and felt great. Hope things are going well for you too π
That's good π not too bad, 1st run in a week early yesterday morning after my latest hip niggle. Just 2k partly because it was too hot, partly because that's all the time I had and partly just to check the hip. Hip all fine and physio didn't seem particularly bothered by the little set back. Might try 3 or 4k in the morning π
