Went out to run my second 9k this morning and decided as I was getting dressed, to run a totally different route. The plan was to rejoin my usual route at the 1k mark but having run 4 or 5 if that makes sense.
It was good as the new route took in a park (which I will do more of next time) and when I got to 8k I felt I could keep going past 9 deciding that no matter how far I went it would be a new distance record for.
Today was a good day😀
