Well I never, and I only went to get some cheese!

We are out there everywhere! I finished WK3 of Ju Ju’s Magical Plan yesterday morning in the rain, and feeling pleased with myself, off I went to the local farm shop on the Christmas cheese run. The former stable smelt of a pair of old and well used socks, but I loved it. So much so, before long I’d tried far too much and in my basket were hearty size wedges of Brie, cheddar with walnuts, Stilton, a creamy smelly blue cheeses, and oh yes, an Apple turnover which didn’t survive the journey home!

Then it happened.....’cor you like your cheeses don’t you the cheese lady said, you’ll have to go on a run after that lot.....I just have I said. So have I said the lady behind me, just finished Couch to 5K! Have you said the other assistant, I’m on W7 of something called Ju Ju’s Magical Plan! Then an older chap who was tucking into a large plastic glass of the Mulled Wine, turned and announced he’d just completed this week his third virtual marathon!

Blimey I thought on my way back home, we’re everywhere, and it was just a lovely few minutes to be with fellow runners. Next, I turned my attention to that apple turnover.....

This is brilliant_running is taking over the world!I only started in May and feel so much better for it. It's so lovely that so many others are getting the boost from running that I've experienced!

“We’re everywhere!” Love that! I do sometimes think when I’m encountering another runner en route if he/she is someone I know on the forum? 🤣🤣🤣

Often runners go by the house, and if I see them, I always say to the other half 'Couch to 5K'!!

How brilliant! I overheard 2 staff members in Sainsbury’s some months ago and one was saying she was thinking of starting something called Couch to 5k. So in I jumped (at a social distance of course!) and said ‘oh yes you must, it’s brilliant! She asked a few questions and hopefully is now happily running round everywhere! The apple turnover sounds delish!

It was, big chunks of apple in it too, I was glad I'd finished my run with a small spurt at the end, just made enough room for it!

Thank you GailXrunning, and I can’t wait to eat the cheese if it’s the same standard as the apple turnover!

How brilliant 030961. The trouble is, we become quite evangelical about c25k and running. I can bore anyone with my running stories. A good job people on here understand!

Your post just reminded me I forgot it was farmers market today. Boo. hiss.

Enjoy that lovely cheese.
