New shoes

Well here are the new shoes... the 2 main things I've learnt from my first gait analysis are that I have a neutral gait and my previous shoes were far too small for running in 🤦‍♀️ I already know I'm rubbish at making decisions 🤣 anyway, after some deliberation I went for these. They felt super comfy on and my foot felt really supported. Although I'd seen it on here they showed my the heel locking method for lacing your trainers as I have very narrow heels so shoes tend to slip. So all in all a good trip out 😀

You really should!! I was avoiding it until my knees started to ache a bit a couple of weeks ago after longer runs.. and that's been caused by the too small shoes 🤦‍♀️ it was really interesting

Blue is my favourite colour... but that was a coincidence 😉 I bought a pair of purple and pink socks just to jazz it up a bit 🤣 The benefit of black is easier to keep clean!!

Hi M ,

Love the Saucony shoes , what are these ones called ? are they road runners or cross trainers ? Do they have a specific code ?

I’m looking for something light that gives me enough room for running too without adding to much to the length .

I usual wear a very light Thin sock however, , have been advise to purchase an actual sock for running .

They are road running shoes, nice and light. I have gone up quite a but in length but they're super comfy.

Yes the link worked just fine. I do a lot of road running, and have decided I should wear good socks and have a good pair of road running shoes. I'm 69+, so need to reduce the impact on my knees , feet, ankles and of course hips.

I'm off to find a shop for a fitting. Many thanks

Ooh very nice! You'll be off like a whippet in those 🤣🤣🤣. Are they a size bigger than your everyday shoes? Makes a massive difference having the right shoes. Happy running!

Wouldn't it be great if they had that effect 😂 they're actually 1.5 sizes bigger! They said you need a thumbs width between the end of your big toe and the end if the shoe and these are just a bit more than this. Looking forward to trying them out on a proper run
