My second week on the comeback plan. I decided to extend to 25 mins today as I felt that the 20 mins run on Friday left me with plenty more in the tank. So off I went running mostly on back roads to get away from the hoards on my lovely usual routes. Realising that I needed to extend a bit I ended up doing a couple of long, slow albeit gentle inclines - and my how I puffed! Note to self - I really need to do a bit of hill running!
Seeing as i was making up the route as I went along i wasn't as mindful of time or distance as it was a winding route that i had to get home on. A few mins from home i checked my watch to see if i needed to add another bit in to get to 25 mins and i was amazed to see that i was at 28 mins! So I ran across the road and past my flat a bit just to get to 30 mins. No idea what the neighbours thought I was up to??? π
Anyway - I'm really delighted with that. It was a cracking day too - sunny, clear blue skies and a tad warmer - although there was still some ice in places. Onwards!!!

Brilliant what a lovely way to get your comeback 30 minute run done. I'm really pleased for you. πππIt's onward and definitely upward as you've pointed out π
That sounds like a lovely run for you today. I dont know how often I've run past my house to get a nice round valueπ€£ previously I'd do ever decreasing loops of carpark. Its amazing how even in the sun little icy patches lurk waiting to catch you unawares- take care and happy running π€
Fantastic!! What a fabulous comeback run ππ I'm also starting up slowly after a spot on the IC and it's such a great feeling to be out there again π all the best to you πͺππββοΈ
