Taking my magic runs on holiday

Week 4 Magic runs done. Did the 8km run today in 54:14 . I found it quite hard jelly legs at the end and constant glancing at watch for the final 1.5km but I did and I’m well chuffed , not sure where the 10 km is coming from at this stage.

So I’m off on walking holiday so may have to pause the plan a little. I am looking forward to running in a different place with more picturesque surroundings. Will try to continue but perhaps just a couple of times in the week instead of 3 times.

Happy running everyone.

Great you ran your 8k today and I hope you have a lovely time away 😊😊

Well done, that's a great time. Maybe the jelly legs signify that you are going a little too fast as you increase distance. Slow down for the next few longer runs, you can always speed up again if you find yourself finishing with loads of energy. Enjoy your walking holiday, running away from home is great if you can squeeze in a few. Happy running 🤗

I think your right about slowing down but I try to and think I have but I can’t seem to control it. I’ll keep trying.

It is hard my “slow” 1st 2k of every run are super speedy (for me) no matter how hard I try to slow down🤣
