So first run this morning after dodgy knee kept me out of the trainers for well over a week. And speaking of trainers I got out a second mortgage & an option on the first born to buy some new ones! Well, I floated for 35 mins along the prom - what a difference & no knee twinges afterwards! My partner calls them my magic shoes! (Never mind the blood, sweat & tears it's taken to get this far!)
Yay got out running again: So first run this... - Bridge to 10K
Yay got out running again

Great you got back out for a run and yes the right shoes can make all the difference π π

Fantastic Diamondshoes - what a lovely feeling that must have been. ππ But where are our photos? You realise itβs the law to show them off so we can all drool! π
If I knew how to upload a photo here I would. They're Hoka one one - lots of support & one & 1/2 sizes bigger than my usual shoe size!!
When I went for a gait assessment I was given shoes that are one and1/2 size higher than my normal shoes. I was shocked and they felt like boats on my feet for a while but so comfy. It explained why my feet hurt in my previous smaller size trainers π
Well done for getting back out there!! New shoes will hopefully add comfort to your courage.

Great effort. A decent pair do cost a fortune but at least they make a difference. My complaint is I run so many kms I'm going to need 2 pairs a year. I shall be looking out for discounts and last years modelsπ€£ happy running π€
