Nice to get out running again

A new job, a chest infection and darker nights stopped me running. I’m thankful to a day off for letting me get back out again. Forgotten how much I love running (once I’ve got going). It feels such a luxury to be out in gorgeous surroundings listening to my music.

Sounds like a lovely run. Making a bit of space where you can just be yourself. I have to admit that it is nice to be retired in that I can choose my running time. I still like going out into the woods with a head torch on, but 67 year old blokes can afford to be fearless!

Welcome back and many happy runs for the future. 😊

Yes a gorgeous place to run - I need to get myself a head torch and motivate myself to get out and run in the evenings- I’d probably stick to running on the streets though once it’s dark -I’m sure I’d enjoy it if I did. For the moment though it was great to just be out and remind myself I can still run

Well done on getting out there. Also congrats on new job and hope you are fully recovered from the chest infection.
