Ended my week and consolidations on a high! Broke my PB by 4:46. I think it’s because I’ve been running in the evening when I’m tired as I don’t have time to do a 5k on my way to work. Today however a latish morning run resulting in this not fast but much improved time that’s also 10 mins faster than the original 5k I did for charity in week 4/5 of the c25k plan.
So excited to be beginning the Bridge next week too! Happy running everyone.

Brilliant 5k for you, good speed for entering b210k when the runs get longer, I slowed down even more than that. You'll love b210k, all those mixed up lengths each week and you can decide the order of each run depending on how you're feeling. If your good recent run this week was because it was earlier maybe see if you can squeeze the long run into earlier in the day. Happy running 🤗
Will do I’m hoping to keep the longer runs for weekend days. I didn’t realise the runs were that flexible so I can get an actual parkrun in when they seat up. It will be my first. I seem to have started on the parkrun not parkrun first 🤣
Brilliant. I printed the c25k chart off and being the child I am put a star beside each completed run - a reward for each run and kept track of completed runs each week ready for starting next week 🤗
I made my own fitness journal based around the 12 fitness plan (NHS) it’s really helped keep on track and I also now have three running tights three tops and new runners! So keeping on top of the greets too 😊
Wow, well done you! It's great when it all comes together, and perfect timing at the end of consolidation. You know you're ready for the start of your next challenge. Good luck!
Journal is going great, even wondering if I need a similar approach to other things. Did consolidation run 4 yesterday. After saying I'd leave 5/6 days before starting consolidation it was 9! I think it was concern about running outside, even arrival of new leggings didn't help, solved by staying in the garden after rereading guidance. But did venture out locally for run 3 even if it was in the dark! Trying for 2/3 runs a week. Just repeating W9 at the moment but still not finding them getting that much easier.
Be kind to yourself and run slow. Take your time with it. That’s when i began to enjoy it. Then I started to speed up too. I know slow down to speed up but it worked for me 😍 good luck with your next run!
