Looks good!Now youcan go out in the rain to test it. Can you let me know whether you can see it in bright sunlight please?The fitbit is all very well, but if you cannot see it without hiding in the shade of a tree, it is all a bit of a faff just to tell the time of day.

I might use the promise of a Garmin as an incentive reward for reaching a target . My last reward for graduating c5k was a pair of shocking pink running socks, so a Garmin needs to be for an epic achievement. The socks remind me of a fashion for little girls in the fifties- lime green or shocking pink. I wished for a pair, now that wish has been fulfilled.

It says on the blurb the screen is non reflective in sunlight. I had that problem too with my Fitbit Blaze. It’s smaller than the Blaze and not a touch screen but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. I’ve paired it with my phone so just waiting for it to fully charge then I’m taking it for a walk 👍😂

I can now vouch for this after a 5.5k walk that started in the sun and ended in the rain. My watch even told strava I had done it, I didn’t have to lift a finger on that. It also measures cadence which the Fitbit doesn’t do and it links with the fitness pal app for calories 👍 fab

❤️😍... you will wonder how you ever lived without one.... enjoy playing with it. I needed to set up vibrates and beeps on mine as without my glasses it’s a bit touch and go if I read it especially when you are trotting away. Have fun 👍
