Consolidation ramble

[Uphill-downhill]

My daughter told me about a lovely trail by the Augustine Abbey on the edge of town, she’s on the IC so I thought I’d go for a look. Couldn’t find the start and lumped around hillocks in fields of sheep for the first 1.5k. Then found the trail which was beautiful and shady.... as I was out in the middle of the day. Ran 7k in all and have the start point now clearly in my head. A beautifully mindful ramble of a run once in the woods ☀️💚🏃‍♀️xx

Yes I hope so, would love to run there with her. Once I’d found the path it was beautiful, woods, rhododendrons, steamy from the rain over night ☀️

Have been deliberately running where I like as consolidation, this was a step too under prepared! Even had to climb over a wall to find my car, having run to the wrong car park and back tracked 🙈. Got is sorted in my head now tho and will be back!!

🤣 we had a walk like that today - signs all the way until at furthest out point then both signs and tracks stopped, backtrack 2km then followed road
