Well 18 months in and I've done couch to 5k, 5k to 10k and back to couch again sort off.
I had a bit of a run in with the virus in March and it really took it out of me but that's done with and feeling good again and back running.
I'm just about doing 5k runs again which has been tougher than I thought but need to kick on back to 10k as I am (optimistically) booked in to a race in September.
In the mean time I've had to retire my faithful asics as they are even more knackered than I was so have some shiny new ones.

Well done for fighting the virus and your dedication to get back to running. Take it easy and steady, you've been to 10k before and can get back just remembered what you've battled against and give your body time. Happy running 🤗
You'll be back ready for September! Great shoes too.
I'm glad to hear you kicked the virus to the curb and are back to running. And a lovely new pair of shoes to restart your 10k journey, perfect. Enjoy, stay safe and healthy and happy running 👍🏃♀️🏃♂️
