Running is continuing apace (as it were)

Did a Virtual Dawn Run with my members of my Canicross groups yesterday. It was a bit chilly, but I do love being out super early at this time of year. The only person I saw for ages was a postman heading to work, but I knew a good half dozen of my friends were out there somewhere too.

First part of our run was a bit hair raising as both dogs were in hunting mode after seeing some rabbits run across the path, but there is new fencing going up alongside it, and the fencers had strung the barbed wire and left it lying along the grass ready to tension 🤦‍♀️

We weren’t aiming to break any records, and taking the long way round, we got to the hill opposite in our half hour of run time, with a turbo boost uphill due to more rabbits 😂. Technically speaking, my 10k plan had yesterday as an interval day, but it looks like one I should do dogless to get maximum benefit as the intervals are 10 minutes long, so they will get done tomorrow.

I’m actually very busy during the daytime at the moment - so much sewing to do! - so am not in here as much as I would like; I do hope everyone is staying safe and well xx

I do love being out at dawn 👍😊. I’m very amused that the collage maker mixed the order of the pictures up so much that it looks more like we were out at sunset 🤣

Lovely photos, I bet it was a bit chilly out there at that time 🥶. Barbed wire - horrible stuff!!

It was so scary seeing lying along the side of the path at dog nose height. I’d seen the fencer at work the day before and wouldn’t have had the dogs free running up there, but it was still a shock that there was so much of it at ground level. 😳
