Thought the legs needed a rest today after my trilogy of runs ( ju-ju I don't know how you do it day after day). The dog looked at his lead the teenagers are making their NHS poster so i popped out...
It's just a shame this post Isn't available in a scratch and sniff option as the wild garlic along the towpath is just starting to waft so strongly on the breeze. I saw no runners maybe it's a day off for all or most π... And the only other pooch being walked at a distance was a lovely beagle. The live-aboard narrow boat folk we're all busy doing boat stuff, painting, polishing etc but they always want to natter so it's nice as not running to be able to catch up π.
And ohhh there's a parcel at home on bank holiday....... Odd as I never get post, well rarely.
The legs I'm sure will thank me for the rest tomorrow, as hopefully shift allowing tonight, it'd be nice to go for a long trot π€.
Stay safe, stay healthy everyone I'm off to see the contents of my parcel before yet another nightshift π¬
I shall pass on compliments to Sid Lexi, he was due a trip to the groomers before lockdown landed on our shores so π¬ Mrs Wife took the clipper's to him, but it's not a bad result thankfully π.
It was strangely nice to walk and observe what I don't really notice when I'm running.....
Nice one Mrs W. Mr L is the dog groomer here, more patience than me. He sets up a table in the garage and as soon as the car is reversed out, one dog is always missing and always found under the bed. π
Ahhhh and when said pooch is retrieved shaking n trembling what is he or she? π§
