Haven't posted for ages. I've been really struggling with my running, only managing about 3.5k and that's an effort. So I ventured forth this evening for a slow 3.5k which turned into a very enjoyable and quick (for me) run. I made a good pace, even though I stopped to take this photo, and was walking home when everyone was out clapping for carers. It made me think that it's the stress of the virus that's spoiling my running and I should just be happy that I can get out and do it when so many people are poorly. The rainbow cheered me up and I hope it does the same for all my VRBs. Happy running and stay safe everyone

Any run is a good run Archerygoddess. Keep lacing up and get out. I think it's always there, the thoughts about what's going on and then you see a great picture and it's the small things that cheer us up.
Just yesterday I watched a blackbird and she was very busy building her nest and then the woodpecker came .
Keep running , stay safe 🤗🤗
Someone’s won a lot of rosettes! What a lovely rainbow to see on your journey! And how nice that you enjoyed your running again! Good to hear from you Archerygoddess, keep it up! Happy running!
Lovely rainbow. 🎉 And welcome back. 😄👍
Thank you😊
You are still getting out there though and every time you step out of the door it is a victory. However small or insignificant it may feel it is a victory. So actually you deserve a big 'well done' because keeping going requires so many things and you're doing them.
Thank you. The lockdown is hard for us all, so I just feel that I should be enjoying my half hour of freedom. Last night I did, so hopefully I'll continue to do so🏃♀️
What a great photo! It's wonderful that you're still getting out even when you're not feeling it, I think it's so important to keep that one aspect of normality going. If it's still a struggle, maybe you could mix it up a bit sometimes, and do some run/walks or intervals. Or, just do what feels right for you, right now 😊
Thank you. I did a run/walk/run just because I was so exhausted, but the second run felt so much better after a short walk. I might take up your idea and do it again. Thanks😊
