I ‘graduated’ in December and have kept running three times a week since and I am really really enjoying myself which I appreciate is the main thing.
However .... I did not start the Bridge as a) did not really understand the chart and b) have never ever made the times. I run 5k or more on each of my runs... my longest being 5miles and since December I have clocked up over 120 miles but I am not getting any faster at all.
I run just over 11 min miles, if there is an incline it’s closer to 12 min miles.
Do I just accept that this is my speed or is there anything I can do to improve this ?
Thanks in advance

The times are for a separate plan. There are two variations of the Magic Plan, one to get to 10K, and the other to get to 60 minutes running - so you choose either the distance or the time run each week.
We positively encourage people to run at their own pace whether running for distance or time, so I'm sorry if this is unclear to anyone! xxx
If you can already run 5 miles you’ll soon be up to 6 miles. Hey presto. 10K.
Increasing pace quite often comes naturally as you up the mileage. To see quicker results try doing some intervals and hill repeats. If you put the work in you’ll see the results.
We all tend to fall into our natural pace, so I think the key is to either up the pace with intervals or, if you are in a hilly area, incorporate some hill training to push things a bit. Or just accept that it is what it is and enjoy it 😊
