I am due to graduate C25K on Saturday. I have managed a 5k without stopping which I did in 35 mins. So what next? I’d like to go sub 30 and when I’ve looked up how to speed up, it says faster short runs and slower longer runs, which to me is what Ju-Ju’s plan looks like. So shall I move onto that? What to do next?

You are most welcome to join the plan, which is exactly what I did when I graduated as I needed the structure to keep at it. Everyone is different, and some like to consolidate the 5k for a bit, and others don’t....

Thank you! Are the short runs as intervals?

If you’ve not done already then go for a parkrun, having people around you can make you go a bit faster!

That’s the next step then! Also, have a look at the podrunner app, does music in varying bpm speeds and also speed programs

C25k+ podcasts are really good . I did them for quite a while after graduating and still do them sometimes. There are 3 different ones : stepping stones , stamina and speed (shorter run: great when you have less time )
