From starting C25K in the second week of January and struggling to run for 1 minute, I graduated C25K 3 weeks ago. I’ve consolidated these runs over the last 3 weeks gradually building towards 10k.

Today was the big day, the weather was perfect and I was able to get into a good rhythm, settle the breathing down and enjoy Queen & the scenery.

Hardest part was the route - a big triangle of 8k which meant I had to carry on running past my house for another 1k before turning back for home. As always for me it’s not letting my mind stop me from achieving what is physically possible.

So super pleased to have achieved my first 10k and hoping I don’t feel too sore tomorrow.

Huge well done! It is the mind over the legs. I’m not there yet!
