Went out this morning to do Week 6 Run 3 of the Magic 10K and everything just clicked into place. Weather was very humid but roads and pavements quiet, so found it enjoyable.
Got to approaching the 55m mark as I had decided to run that, but felt strong enough to continue to the hour and I knew I must be close to 10K.
Glad I did as I managed to clock 10.4K at a decent pace.
I don't post much on these forums but love reading them and finding inspiration to keep me going. Great forum which has helped me achieve this. I only started Couch to 5K in April so very happy with my progress.
Thanks all π

What a phenomenal time for your 1st 10k, you deserve to be very proud of it. Well done. I'm sure as the weather cools that time will get smaller and smaller. Happy running π€
Thankyou very much. Really glad to have reached 10K. Struggled to run the short bursts in the early stages of C25K but that programme worked and the Magic 10K plan has been great as well π
Awe thanks for that compliment π I've been lucky that my pace has been really quite quick since the later stages of C25K and has just kept being decent since.
Absolutely fantastic!!!! What a superb time in this heat - or any heat come to think of it!!!! Am attempting my 10k tomorrow if I can keep off the rose wine this eveπ
Lol I always try to stay off the booze the night before I run, although when it's this warm the temptation is high πΊ! Best of luck tomorrow, I hope you achieve your 10K as it's a really great feeling ππ€
Thanks Colinla- it was the neighbours fault, they βforcedβ me to drink too much this eve πStill going to give it a go with my buddy aka coach Bennett from the Nike appπ
πππππ have a little one but water before bed then after the run tomorrow you can have loads! Good luck and go steady, time will come so just focus on getting the distance tomorrow. Go steady away and get comfy. Good luck...you can do it!!
Wow, congratulations on your 10k! That's a really impressive time and so soon after graduating C25K. Keep enjoying it, and feel free to share whatever it is that got you that distance in an hour!π π π
