Thinking back to what I used to wear when I started this running thing omg I had so many layers..... Today I got it right phew, tee-shirt x1 sock 1 per foot 😁 shorts and a cap..... That was warm I took a drink and I'm so glad I did I'm definitely going to have to think and plan run times as the summer progresses as me and heat 🙄 its not a good combination.........
It was so quiet, I think Boris has made himself clear now and people are listening. The dog walkers normally in pairs.... Not today just individuals and the traffic has definitely decreased. I saw only on other runner, poor soul had his layers all wrong unless he was on one of these sweat the weight off diets, sweat pants, goody and a wooly hat oh heck he looked soooooo hot.....
I headed home enjoying the breeze in my face and the thought of a cheeky ice lolly from the freezer.........
I often have my woolly hat on, but it soon comes off lol. Running for an hour. Wow. I hope I can do that one day. I'm aiming for 10k after I've mastered the 5 ☺

Today I went my weekly shopping, Boris says you are allowed to do that, walked to it, got to the supermarket, only about 15 people in it at 7.45am, got the bus back, no other people on the bus except the driver, later in the morning I took my neighbours dog a walk, Boris says you can do exercise like walks, runs or bike rides, only about 3 other dog walkers about.
Tomorrow I will be running 5K as part of the Vitality Running World Cup, looking at the list I am now at about the same position in the field of runner's as I am at when I have ran a parkrun, with the 5K tomorrow it will take me to three quarters down the list.
It's just a shame the lengths the government had to go to , to get people to listen 😊
It is indeed a shame, but getting through to numpties is like pushing string up hill 🤯.
My other conundrum is the youngest is pestering to go for a bike ride 🙉 hmmmm do I go and risk imprisonment, opt for a disguise perhaps hat and stick on beard, I may just watch her across the. Road and let her go solo as she's competent and safe and the canal towpath runs along her school friends houses.
Then there's Sid who'll need walkies later eeeeeeeeek this is tricky
Great run there with perfect clothes. I dont know how hot it was with you but I too was down to tshirt and shorts - in the Scottish highlands- in March🥴 happy running 🤗
I've really enjoyed running longer distances in the cold weather, but I am so looking forward to not wearing a hat (I don't suit hats 😂🎩) and feeling a cool breeze wafting around me 🌬️

Hahaha the disguise issue is a little worrying being the only male in the house 😬 1wife various NHS outfits 🥺 and two teenage daughters 🙈 as for the cat and dog they just wander around totally nude 🤐 so my options are a tad limited ............. Oh heckythump
