Ran on Monday and had a great one where everything just feels so good. Then we had snow and ice so definitely no running on that. Now a have the cold , now normally I would just keep going but it has really been the worst I just don't have the energy to run. I've been out with the dog twice a day but that really is the limit , I'm forcing myself each day to get out of bed as I think staying there just makes me feel worse.
Will have to give parkrun a miss this weekend and I will hopefully be fighting fit by Monday . Happy running to all my VRB's and i hope storm Dennis doesn't get in your way 😁😁

I am sorry Buddy34 that you have a cold and won't be able to run at Drumpellier tomorrow, I hope that you get better very soon
For almost 10 years, once a month I have gone on a Friday to Dunfermline a walk round the same park that the parkrun takes place on a Saturday, I walked round it this morning and guess what, managed a very short run as well, it seems so strange now walking on the same place as you are used to running.
I am now on the bus back and have "run." into rain, everywhere it is very muddy, tomorrow at Drumpelliier it will be very very muddy, maybe its just as well you are not running, there again you like running in mud, you told us that last week, once again, I hope you will get back to running very quickly once your cold goes.
Thank you, I hope you enjoyed your morning out. Normally I would be annoyed that I can't run like I was with the snow and ice but i don't even have the energy to be annoyed so fingers crossed I will be better by Monday. Have a nice weekend 😁
I have just got home, there is an E-Mail from North Lanarkshire Events sent to me, it says "Take part in the first-ever Drumpellier Country Park 'Nite lite run dark' Night trail running event" its takes place on Friday 27th March at 7 PM (sunset is 6.45) Entry fee is £20, head torches will be supplied and must be worn, sounds interesting, it's a 6-mile run (10K) round much the same course but not exactly the same as Saturday mornings parkrun, I won't be going but thought you might be interested.
So sorry you haven’t been feeling well. There is a lot of it about. The other three people in my part of the office are all really unwell so I’m just hoping I don’t catch it!!
Well done for getting out twice a day with the dog and hopefully you will be feeling on top form again on Monday.
So sorry to hear you’re under the weather - literally by the look of the weekend forecast. Stay safe and keep warm. We seem to be missing the worst of the storms over on the east so hoping to fit in a run tomorrow - managed to run alternate days since 16 January and keen to see how long I can keep it up for. If I do get out tomorrow I’ll dedicate the run to you - planning short sharp hill from home, that suit you? Slowly 🤣🤣
Sorry to hear you're not well. Hope you're back on form very soon. In the meantime, keep warm, cuddle up with the dog and let your legs enjoy the rest!
Sorry to hear that Buddy. Good timing though - if a cold is going to stop you running, have it when the weather is stormy! Get well soon. I look forward to you posting new PBs next week!
Poor Buddy. 😩 🤧 But if you’re going to miss running any weekend, this one looks to be the one. 💨 💦 Hopefully you’ll feel better next week and the weather will buck up a little at least. 🤞
I know we were all complaining about the heat last summer, but right now it sounds so appealing! ☀️
