I appear to have booked and paid for my first 10K race with a friend who doesn’t run. The good news is we have until mid-July to train and there are wine-tasting breaks in between the running...
We aren’t going to break any time records (we put 75+ minutes in the estimate) but it should be a giggle!

TailChaser Katnap Windoze and I did one of these in Leicestershire last year. It was great fun, but boy was that vineyard hilly! Trying to knock back wine at the “water” station without stopping was interesting too 😂
Oh my Lord! We were imagining more of a leisurely stop and sip and swig at each wine station!
Very sensible idea! Some on ours were almost partying, but there was also free wine tasting at the end 🥂

Hahahahaha...I love the sounds of this ktsok , this is right up my street, well, I wish it was coz I would be joining you!!! Wine and running...my two favourite things!!! you've got plenty of time to get your non-running friend out of the door and she shouldn't take much persuading with this one surely?!! I can't wait to hear all about it!!!
