I can't say February has been fun for me, but I have enjoyed the accountability and camaraderie of the Quest.
I am accepting now that my foot will get better when it's ready, but in the meantime I am gaining strength and toning muscles with daily yoga exercise and my physio exercises.
Ready to march into March!
Hope you are feeling a bit better now after your HM last week.
Thank you for doing this, at the beginning of the month a very short slow run was all i could manage and itβs been hard to run more than twice a week with work and weather but having a place to come and say we are progressing is great
Well, my 40k challenge looks feeble compared to everyone else, but I really wouldn't have done it on my own. Somehow once you have told other people your goal you feel compelled to complete it. Now I just need to decide what to do in Marchπ€
Thank you roseabi for the February Flounce. What a contrast to February 2018 when I flumped and flopped my way through Week 1 of C25k. This forum and Flouncing gave me courage to enter my first 10k race, started strength and stretch exercises daily and I know contributed to another PB at parkrun yesterday. Looking forward to what March brings now. π
Thanks for running this one Abi, Iβm happy I hit most of my targets, just missed out on doing a 10k which Iβll blame on the weather. Onwards and upwards to Marchβs madness!
Thank you roseabi for helping us all to flounce through February. Due to one set of lovingly shared small person germs after another (!) my flouncing hasn't quite gone to plan but I'm motivated to set a new set of March goals. Thank you to everyone for their encouragement and motivation and time. Here's to π€ less germs, wind and rain, and more sunshine, running and daylight
I had modest goals and I am modestly pleased to have fulfilled them...
Well, as previously advertised, one of them went by the wayside early when I found I can't stream video in my bathroom so Yoga was not going to be with Adriene after all. But I have achieved my goal of yoga practice more days than not.
And I am pootling along slowly with C25K redux, feeling very nostalgic about the music on the podcasts.
Had a terrible month, what with the weather & an endless cold.
I haven't run for 2 weeks & 2 days, but it feels like months! Didn't meditate or plank either. Grim! Enough is enough now though - I'm still full of cold & very low energy, but I need to move & get some endorphins going. Adriene has a lovely 'yoga for when you are sick' video, & some gentle morning routines, so will do one of those tonight. Onwards!
Well done everyone for trucking on through the wet
Thank you so much for the Feb flounce. I havenβt got out running as much as I wanted but that canβt be helped. The Feb flounce made me accept the plank challenge! So thank you for giving up your time for this.
