Reluctantly braved the dark, damp evening and was shocked more than surprised at how sucking in the cold wet air of a stormy Somerset night was exciting, exhilarating and enjoyable - easy to keep going and in the end a sheer delight. I could have done another 10k. A new habit begun I think..C25K has a lot to answer for.

It’s great when you find a good time to run isn’t it?

I am fine running in this weather. However when I stop running and start recovering, taking in the first few breaths, the cold air sets me off on a coughing fit.

A lot to answer indeed. So great to beat winter by continuing to run. Well done on your run.
I don’t get that but have to admit mine is more a slow jog than a run-still seem to do the distances though and no aches and pains 🕺

Good for you! It’s amazing how we change once we become runners. We continue to surprise ourselves
Running in most of our UK weather is mostly not that bad. I think it’s the thought of it that puts us off. Once we’re out there, layered up, we’re fine
I’m off for a run shop in the rain this morning 🙄💦🌧💨. Going for healthy running supplies to Lidl 🙂
