Hi Runners

I’m pressing reset and I’ve been out on a Jeff! 🙌🏽!

There has been a lot going on and I’ve had a touch of the winter blues! But I’m coming out fighting back and making sure I do the things that bring me joy! ⛅️

Now the weather out there wasn’t great, but I didn’t care! It was nice to feel the wind 💨 and really see the great outdoors and seeing a few runners doing their own thing too was fabulous! It’s a build up for me, but I’m on it! Time to get life back on track!

Good for you getting out there. It’s great seeing others steaming along over the winter but some of us have struggled a bit I think. Now as the days get lighter and we see the beauty of spring we will all get back on track. Happy running 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Good for you! Great to hear you managed to get out. Jeffing is great - I've been doing C25K with my son (not every run & he's only just done week 3) but it's been good to walk/run without the pressure of a certain distance in my head. Hope you feel well & inspired to keep popping out. Never far if you fancy a Jeff/Jog/cake/coffee. X

Well done Fabulous450 you won’t regret it. Your story sounds very like mine! Just make sure you take it easy so you don’t get injured. I only say this because I went back last week and did a parkrun then a 5 k a few days later and hurt my knee. Tried to go out last Wednesday but knee was still dodgy. Trying again tonight but taking it easy and I’m stopping if knee plays up! Should have built back up slowly 😫. Have fun and by the summer we’ll be off and hopefully there’ll be no stopping us!

Ah thank you so much Beany123! They are very short runs at the moment😊. But it’s done. I’m deliberately keeping it that way so that I don’t feel pressured in any way. I’m definitely a run for fun kind of girl! Don’t want to lose that! 😂❤️
