General rule of thumb is if in chest -stop, above neck, give it a go gently. However, you have asthma and inhaler so please take care. There are some truly awful bugs around that if given the chance to take hold of your lungs could put you out of operation for longer than a few days. Remember if you do choose to go out, a slow 1k is still a run. Take care
Take care and as you say, listen to your body. If you are worried about losing your routine, you could do a super slow mile wrapped up warm on the days you are due to run. But please do take your inhaler with you.
Well after my recent experience I would say if in doubt don't ... I've had a two week cold / virus thing which has totally floored me. I thought I was about done with it and started walking and doing a few 3ks, it now seems to be back and I'm busy fighting it off for a second time
