No parkrun for me😥😥

Neck and shoulder not much better tonight so I've made a decision not to go to parkrun tomorrow.

Don't want to complain too much as I know there are people on the IC with worse or who have maybe been there a while and I've never been there.

It's really strange though that I'm annoyed that I can't go but that's that.

Run a lap for me tomorrow anyone going to parkrun and enjoy 😊😊😊😊

Feel better soon..and don't worry, those of us on the IC right now, are good company xx

Ohhhh that's annoying I feel your frustration Buddy, I'm hoping to go tomorrow, that's if the Friday Evening frostbite has removed itself from my 🙌🦶👃👂👂

Note to self don't be persuaded to go for a nighttime bike ride with an energetic teenage daughter 🥶

More annoying that I never actually caused it when running🤣

Those foam rollers are dangerous items 😬🤕

That is a wise and very sensible decision you have made, to have ran at Drumpelliier could have made your neck and shoulder worse, so quite correctly you have decided to miss your run tomorrow.

It's going to be a bit strange for me tomorrow, I'll be taking the bus up to St Andrews, I go there twice a year, I take a long walk along the promenade when I get there, however, the bus I get to St Andrews is the same bus that I get when I'm going to Dunfermline parkrun, it will be very tempting not to get off at Dunfermline, but there again I won't be going to St Andrews in my running gear.

I hope your neck and shoulder gets better very soon.

Thanks AlMorr , hope you enjoy visiting St Andrew's. Have a great day😊

Thanks Buddy34, I will tell you how my visit goes when I get back home, I will take my Smartphone and read all the reports from the parkruns when I am there and on the bus back home.

Sorry to hear that. Keep your chin up and have a well earned rest and a nice bath with some muscle soak or Epsom salts.

Hot bath and a soak will help, good decision not to run. Here’s hoping you feel better soon 👍

Aww Buddy, what a shame. Sensible decision though. I’ll dedicate the long hill lap at our PR to you. 😀 💪

I seen your parkrun was cancelled like a lot of parkruns today up and down the country due to icy conditions. Glad you had a nice run with Flossie just the same😊😊🐕🐕

How disappointing, so sorry it’s still painful. I’d definitely be having a nice long soak in the bath. Hope it’s better soon!

Parkrun will be there next week, hope you're better soon, I've had a side strain since November, a mild ache in the side of the abdomen when moving in certain positions, not absolutely sure what caused it, but I may have over reached when stretching, when it starts to feel ok I then sneeze or cough and it starts up again! I do sneeze a lot once I start (rhinitis) 😕 so been taking it easy recently.

It’s amazing that these things can just flare up out of the blue, even by just turning over in bed! or doing what you were doing, hopefully it will all go back into place soon and we can carry on.. but at the moment am waiting to see the Parkrun results of my nephew and others who ran this morning in the frost & sunshine😉

Just one of those things but so annoying. Beautiful day here in Scotland as well , blue skies and frosty. Great weather for running or for me a good walk with the dog 😊🐕

had a great parkrun this morning - hope you can get back to that soon again ... walking for 20 or 30 minutes may help to relax those areas ....

Do that every day with the dog. So as I couldn't run I walked the dog on one of my running routes , took me an hour.

Glad you enjoyed your parkrun😊
