Hi, just found this after graduating C25k. Signed up for a 10k at the end of May. Still finding 5k taxing and i'm slower than I would like but managed 6k last night on the treadmill in 35 minutes. I think its the furthest I;ve ever ran without stopping in my life at the age of 37. lol in for the 10k journey

That's an excellent time for 6k.
I'm still a novice runner so take what I say with that in mind, but my experience of reaching toward and then running 10ks - at an appreciably slower pace than I run 5ks - has had the effect of making it noticeably easier for me to run 5K.

That is a good time for a 6K, sub 30 minute 5k time, to get to 10K, just slowly increase the distance you run, say 6K two weeks in a row with a few shorter runs in between, 7k and so on until you get to 10K.

Welcome, great time for 5k. Are you planning using ju Ju's magic plan? I slowed my speed to allow me to reach the longer distances, you can always increase later. May is definitely within your reach. Happy running
I’ve also recently graduated and signed up for a 10k in May 🤞🏻 I plan on using JuJu’s magic plan from this site - have you seen it?
