I had posted on Monday how tired I was when running and thought just one of those runs. Today felt much the same.
I eat well and as I said before keep well hydrated as I want to do everything I can to be able to run and enjoy it .
So got an appointment with the doctor and maybe get my bloods checked just in case.
I'm never like this any day never mind when running, since I started this I've got more energy than I've ever had.
So I will wait and see.
Happy running 😊😊

Sorry to hear you’re not feeling great. Do you think that maybe you just need a rest? You have been doing so amazingly well and all those 10k’s. Perhaps your body is just tired?
You were very wise on getting an appointment with your doctor Buddy34, not nice to hear from you that you did not enjoy your run again today, I just hope that you will feel better very soon.
As for me I had a short 3K run again this morning around that newly resurfaced route, a repeat of Sundays run, in the afternoon I got the train to Milngavie and walked 4 Kilometres and back up the West Highland Way, 8K altogether, there was a heavy shower which made things very muddy, but I did have my walking boots on which with a second pair of running socks I still felt very comfortable.
When I got my gait analysis last year I bought 1 pair of proper running shoes and two pairs of Hilly TwinSkin socks, one pair of socks for running which I have been doing for nearly 20 months and a second pair for going long winter walks which I have been doing for more than 20 years.
Probably it's just from having too much booze at Christmas & New Year 😂
doctor will probably find 70% blood alchohol when he tests your blood! 🤣
Joking aside, hope you're feeling better soon, think it's just that time of year where there's a lot of bugs & viruses around, haven't been feeling 100% myself..
Weirdly I went for a 5K run on Tuesday and the last 1K felt like I was running in concert boots my feet felt so heavy,I’ve never experienced this before. I’ve put it down to been overtired hopefully tonight’s run will be better.
Hope you’re bloods all come back fine and you’re just having a couple of rubbish days running. I’m sure you will be back running 10k before you know it I think January is just a depressing month anyway bad weather and Xmas and new year all over with.
A lot of us feel a bit flat at this time of year. I know I do. January is just such a dreary month. Like Maddee_6333 , I also have to contend with hypothyroidism, which doesn't help. Throw in having suffered from depression since my late teens and it's a wonder I actually manage anything.
There are all sorts of bugs going around at this time which you can be more susceptible to when you're run down.
That said, it could just be that you need to schedule a few days break for your legs. I've found a week off every couple of months does me the world of good (although resisting the urge to get out can be a form of torture).
Anyway, hope whatever it is passes soon and you're back up and firing on all cylinders again.
Hoping all is well at the doctors and sure it will be, maybe your low on iron or need some more vitamins etc.
I did find that when I was running long distances regularly I was shattered so reduced it now as I felt my body was saying you don’t need to do that all the time and gave myself a short break.
