Don't normally like running two days back to back, but I was determined to get that 10K milestone in yesterday before the year ended and wanted to kick of 2020 with a parkrun PB.
Turns out yesterdays 10K was an easier achievement than today's PB attempt. Nevermind, I've still kicked off this decade running and with a Parkrun Time of 23:33 I can't complain.
Maybe my legs haven't forgiven me for dragging them around 10,000meters at 6am yesterday, maybe last nights NYE celebrations had a detrimental effect on this morning's run, or maybe I'm just facing the consequences of my own success, meaning that PB of 22:37 is never going to be beaten (I still don't know how on earth I achieved it in the first place). Whatever the reason, it was a great run, a great atmosphere and an awesome start to a brand new decade.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE π

I know, it's a brilliant PRtime, and really can't be disappointed with it, I just really wanted to start 2020 with a PB. Nevermind. There's a brand-new 52weeks ahead to get there.
Happy New Year. Hope your 2020 is full of goals being achieved and targets being met.
