Nothing like leaving it to the last minute

When I started JuJus Magic Plan, I was determined to do every run of every week. I was also determined to get to 10K before the year ends so that I could start a new plan in 2020 building up to a half marathon.

I started strong, keeping to the plan all the way to W5R3 but then I got a bit poorly and only managed 1 run in week 6 (9Km). Christmas then got in the way for W7 meaning I only managed a Parkrun and W8 just seemed impossible to squeeze in before NYE.

Still keen to get in that 10K run before saying goodbye to 2019 I was up early this morning and out plodding the streets. 10Km done and dusted!

Feel a bit disappointed I didn't follow the plan all the way to the end, and so haven't run as much as I hoped I would these past few weeks, but so happy to have reached that 10K milestone.

Fantastic effort, you're not the 1st and definitely won't be the last to fast track to that 10k . Brilliant time too, see you didn't need those extra runs to get there. Good luck with the ½marathon marathon training. happy running and a happy healthy new year to you and your family

The only thing that matters is that you got there in the end, don’t worry about the journey. Congratulations 🥳

Very well done Bike_and_Run - what an amazing time! I had planned to run my first 10K yesterday but my knee gave way in Park Run on Saturday so I'm back on the IC. Very jealous of you!
