I set out to run my 7K run today on week 3 of Ju-Juβs magic plan.
I returned to the beautiful seafront promenade with its many scenic distractions (and flat running surface π) and got going slowly until I felt a gentle natural pace kick in. I had good tunes in my ears and I thought back to how I would clock watch in those first at least 5 weeks, willing it to be time up so I could walk.
Now I donβt want the run to end, I love being in the moment and challenging myself. When I initially started consolidation runs Iβd set a timer but hated having to focus on the time, I now rely and my Garmin gently vibrating my wrist at each KM to guide me.
I managed to time the run to my location perfectly and hit 7K as I ran out of promenade in 58 minutes, I felt I had more gas in the tank so continued to 7.5K to get my 60 minutes goal ticked off (and badge).
So chuffed it feels unbelievable, and I now know 10K is possible, and just a few weeks away!
Happy running guys ππ»ππ₯
