I wanted to share this with this amazing supportive community.
I'm still not used to the fact that I'm a runner and constantly amazed that I'm still doing this 3 times a week. Since graduating at the end of May I have gradually increased my time running and today managed 60 minutes! I am gobsmacked. I started this journey at the end of January, took 18 weeks to graduate, have taken 14 more weeks to get to 60 mins and am still obese and slow. But it doesn't matter how long it took, I'm feeling very proud today.
Next target the magic plan to get to 10K!

Congratulations! I did a 7km run in 60 minutes today too - my longest run ever!!! I’m 22, slim and regularly play sport so don’t feel like you’re anything less than a runner. I’m glad you feel proud!!
Well done to you k11111, on completing that 7K run in 60 minutes, you are one of youngest people here on this forum, most people here are over 40 but there is no minimum or maximum age limit, all ages are warmly welcomed.
Congratulations to you and Lifbeginsat on running for 60 minutes, you can both tell the administrators that you have ran for 60 minutes and you will then see the words "60mingraduate" next to your username.

Well done! It really doesn't matter how long it's taken you. That's also a great distance to have ran. More power to you. You've got that 10k in sight. Happy running!! 😉
Well done! It's great to reach some milestones! I think when we all started, we coukd only dream of running for a whole hour! Isn't it amazing, such a powerful thing to do!
You are a runner, you have achieved and you should feel proud! Well done you. On your feet for an hour is superb because you've earned it. All those doubts, difficult moments and loss of confidence can be replaced with hope, resilience and belief.
Going slow is a beautiful way to run and really good for your heart too. Time to leave behind what you thought you were and accept what you actually are. Brilliant run 👏👏👏🥇
