It was a lovely day for a run. Cool, but no wind and no rain.
And sunny. The end of my run was directly into the setting sun, with the light glinting off the lake to my side. It was lovely, even though it made dodging the dog walkers and kiddies on scooters that much more challenging.
Ended at 10.1km, just to be sure. My hamstrings are certainly tight, and the foam roller will be getting a workout. But otherwise it went very smoothly.
I am delighted it's done, and before the end of the year.
Onwards.

It is lovely. The pros definitely include the scenery. The cons are that itβs not as flat as street running, with significant and sustained hills. Good training but I sometimes wish for a flat route.
Congratulations Charliemouse! Itβs a great thing to be able to do as it opens you up to all sorts of further challenges. Brilliant way to sign off the year πππ
